Filipino Gambling Superstitions
Most Filipinos are known to have an appetite for gambling. For this reason, lots of the local citizens in the Philippines have gambling superstitions which they have probably inherited from their forefathers. Since the time of the Spanish rule, cockfighting was the centre of attraction for gamblers up until today. Thus, they would simply rely on luck when they go to gambling establishments. They are also fond of bringing along amulets, medallions or lucky charms when gambling. Moreover, even pregnant women are referred to as lucky, so gambling husbands will likely bring their wives along with them.
