Famous Filipino Personalities
If we are to feature here all those famous Filipino personalities, it would take not just an entire book to be able to highlight all of them. For instance, the Filipino politicians who have done good and bad alike, are quite many in number. Thus, allow me to discuss those who are really significant and famous (or “infamous”) Filipino politicians who have, throughout history, contributed to the present condition of Philippine democracy. Looking up to politicians as the solution to economic problems in the country is typical of Filipino attitude. Even if there are controversial issues hounding politicians, they could get away easily during campaign periods and some Filipinos actually vote for them to assume public office. Indeed, Filipinos can forget easily. In line with their trusting nature somehow, they truly believe and look on to these politicians as saviours from their present poverty. Of course, who could top the highest political position of a given country above the presidency? Here I have outlined three famous Philippine presidents who have been influential in contributing to the shaping of our Republic’s history.

The field of entertainment is always a good source of glee whenever popular celebrities have a different issue or topic to offer. I have chosen the top three celebs who are worthy to be really called “entertainers”, entertainers who are wholesome and have shown a degree of integrity in what they do. Those who have given the Filipinos pride in their performances here and abroad were also a big consideration. As to the famous businessmen in the country, even with questions and doubts on the legality and genuineness of their acquired wealth, one cannot neglect the fact that in one way or another, they have actually earned their share of hard work and labour to achieve such status in amassing business conglomerates. Their business ingenuity deserve if not praise, some degree of respect in a way of being featured here. This also goes to big and small journalists alike; people look up to these personalities because of the credibility journalists embody.
