A Diversified People
It has been said and even taught in school that the Filipino people have originated from the Malay race. The Malays were believed to be the forefathers of the Filipino race. However, centuries after, the Spaniards came to the Philippines and colonised it along with other settlers from various parts of the world. That is why you will find that the Filipino race is diversified. In addition, you will notice that its culture and traditions are influenced by several other nationalities like Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese. This is because, these three countries were the biggest influence and colonisers that the Philippines ever had. However, despite that, the Filipino people are united when it comes to the welfare of its country. With a unified hope and struggle for independence from poverty, the Philippines continues its hard work to make life better for generations to come.
